Reliability scoring.Every account starts at 100. Completing a chat earns +10. No-showing costs −20. Late cancels (under 24 hours) cost −5. Confirming on time earns +2. The score is public, visible in discovery, baked into the OG card on shareable profiles. It's not gamified — it's a behavioural ledger.
Mandatory 24-hour confirmation.Once a request is accepted and scheduled, both parties have to confirm 24 hours before the meeting or it auto-cancels. This single rule eliminates the most common ghosting mode — "I forgot," "something came up" — by forcing an active acknowledgement before the calendar slot is honoured.
Automatic no-show detection.A cron job runs every hour. Thirty minutes after a chat's scheduled end, if it isn't marked complete, it's flagged NO_SHOW and both users lose 20 reliability points. Ghosting has a cost. Reliable mentorship has a reward.
48-hour request windows.Send a request and the recipient has 48 hours to respond. After that, it auto-expires. Nobody has to chase. Nobody's request sits in limbo for weeks.
